Without Faith
Without faith, it is impossible to please Him. Hebrews 11:6
… Yet, I often find myself not practicing faith in the One who is faithful. I even try to excuse it, and even worse, I sometimes decide to do things my own way to “help God out.” That is faithlessness – and that is not what God wants.
He tells me in Philippians 4:19, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” He created me and knows more about me than I do. Matthew 10:30 says, “But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.” He knew me before I was born (Psalm 139:16) and he knows the number of my days (Job 14:5).
Because He knows me, because He promises to provide for me and because it is impossible for me to please Him without faith, I am without excuse. “Lord I believe, help my unbelief.” Mark 9:24
