The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom then shall I fear.  My God goes before me everywhere I go. Because I am a believer, His Holy Spirit is always with me. I am never alone and I never face any obstacle by myself.

If you abide in me, and my word abides in you, you will ask what you desire and it shall be done for you.

The key word in that verse is the first word – if. The only way I can abide in Him and His Word can abide in me is if I am consuming His word, which means I need to read it. Simple! We are the ones that make things difficult. I need to consume His word so His holy spirit can teach me to align my will with His. Praise be to God.
